FAQ

Common questions about releases.

How often do you ship?

A new release goes out roughly every two weeks, with hot-fix releases pushed within hours when needed. Major version bumps (the leftmost number, e.g. v6 → v7) happen once or twice a year and are always accompanied by a migration guide.

Will I be notified about breaking changes?

Yes. Breaking changes are flagged in the changelog with a "BREAKING" tag and are also sent to the email on file for every admin user at least 30 days before the release lands. Critical breaking changes (auth, billing) get 90 days of notice.

Where do I report a bug from a release?

File it in your account dashboard under Support → New ticket and reference the version number. Bugs filed against the latest two releases are triaged within one business day. You can also flag the issue from any release card in your console.

Do you publish a roadmap?

A high-level roadmap is shared with all customers in the admin dashboard. Specific dates are reserved for enterprise customers under NDA — your account manager can walk you through what we are working on next quarter.

Can I view prior versions of the changelog?

Every release stays in the timeline forever. You can also pull the full release history as JSON from /v1/releases on the API.

How are versions numbered?

We use semantic versioning. The leftmost digit changes only on a year-scale rewrite. The middle digit increments on every regular release (new features, improvements). The rightmost digit only appears on hot-fix releases between regular ships.
